Comedienne MoNique Addresses Rumors Of Her Replacing Nene Leakes On RHOA Porsha Williams Chim

Real Housewives is rumored to start filming their next season by the end of this month. As with any other season, casting rumors have been running rampant as Nene Leakes has been making non-Bravo related moves.

One of these rumors is that comedienne Mo’Nique is coming to take her spot as the head Housewife in charge. MediaTakeOut claimed that her husband who often serves as her manager is negotiating with the network.

‘[Sidney] is negotiating with Bravo to have Mo’Nique join the show. Nothing is done yet, but if Bravo opens up their pockets, we’ll all see Mo’Nique on the show.’

Mo’Nique no doubt has the star power to bring it more ratings and a knack for making good TV.

However, the actress shut that rumor down in a video reposted by the Shade Room.

‘Let me let it come straight from my mouth. No my sweet babies I am not doing the Real Housewives of Atlanta and in my humble opinion — Nene Leakes is irreplaceable. Nene Leakes is the Housewives of Atlanta if you ask me baby. That’s been 13 years so, no I am not joining the cast. I respect all of those sisters they do what they do.’

Porsha Williams was impressed by Mo’Nique’s words and commented: ‘Dang, well let’s have both honestly.’

This comes after rumors rang that the Glee alum was fired from the show.

Almost immediately, a rep for the reality star set the media straight that not only is his client always welcomed on RHOA, but she is also in talks for bigger things.

‘It is absolutely not true that Nene has been fired from RHOA. Furthermore, it was made abundantly clear prior that she will always be welcome on the series as long as she wants to be. We are having on-going bigger picture conversations with NBC Universal and have not made any decisions regarding next season specifically. Any speculation or sources trying to create controversy by stating otherwise are incredibly inaccurate.’
