Scottie Pippen recently made headlines for saying Michael Jordan was a "horrible player" and in the same breath calling LeBron James the "greatest statistical player" to ever live, leading NBA fans to resurface a quote from The Last Dance documentary.
Jordan, 60, gave Pippen his flowers in the documentary, saying the Chicago Bulls wouldn't have won anything without him on the team.
"I didn't win without Scottie Pippen, and that's why I consider him my best teammates of all time," Jordan said. "Whenever they speak Michael Jordan, they should speak Scottie Pippen."
Pippen, 57, evidently ran with that quote when saying MJ was a "horrible player" before he joined the Bulls.
Jordan, who was leading the league in scoring before Pippen arrived, has yet to respond to his comments.
Why is Scottie Pippen so angry at Michael Jordan?
Instead of remembering his championship days with fondness, Pippen is focused on who deserves how much credit.
In fact, he says nobody can be the greatest player ever because basketball is a team sport, a clear shot at Jordan's GOAT status.
Some fans believe Scottie is bitter because MJ's son, Marcus Jordan, is dating his ex-wife and mother of his children, Larsa Pippen.
Others claim that Pippen is just using the Jordan name as an attempt to stay relevant, not unlike his ex-wife.
